Optical Sorting

Sinotech offer additional services such as optical sorting at our UK warehouse in Market Harborough. Optical sorting is useful in the fastener industry to precisely sort objects based on their optical properties. This can include colour, shape, size, and texture. Sinotech have two 4 camera Optical Sorting Machines that work at high speed and use compressed air to separate items efficiently and accurately selecting parts that conform to the specified customer requirements. This process is also non-destructive, which is important for smaller and more delicate parts.

Virtually Defect Free

The use of this sorting technology equipment enables work to be virtually defect free. This is through frequent monitoring and calibration which retains the machine’s accuracy over time. So, as far as dimensions are concerned, an extremely low number of defects, can be realised.
