Pressed and Stamped Parts

Metal pressing and stamping are widely used in various industries due to their versatility and efficiency. Metal pressing is commonly used in the automotive industry for creating complex shapes in car body parts, such as hoods, fenders, and door panels. It is also employed in the aerospace industry for manufacturing aircraft components, such as wing sections and structural parts.

Metal stamping finds extensive applications in the production of consumer goods, household appliances, electronics, and packaging materials. It is also used in the manufacturing of industrial equipment such as HVAC systems, agricultural machinery, and construction materials. Metal stamping can also be used in the production of metal furniture, lighting fixtures, and hardware products.

Both metal pressing and stamping play crucial roles in the manufacturing processes of various industries, and their applications continue to expand as technology advances.

When it comes to equipment and tooling, both metal pressing and stamping processes require the use of specialized machinery and tools to shape and form metal components. Metal pressing typically uses hydraulic or mechanical presses to and forming to force the metal to take the shape of the tool. These precision tools, dies and punches, are required to withstand the high forces involved.  Metal Stamping also relies on presses, but it involves the use of a die with a predefined shape and design. The metal sheet is placed between the die and the punch, and when the press comes down, the metal is formed by the shape of the die. Stamping operations often require a set of dies, including blanking, piercing, and forming dies, to achieve the desired end product.

Progression Press Tooling

Depending on the complexity of your required component, we are able to work with you from the concept stage through to the finished article bringing into play our extensive knowledge and experience of metal forming and tool design

Depending on the quantities required we can either use simplified tooling for lower quantity parts, right  through to multi stage  progression tooling to cater for high volume.

Whichever is the most appropriate process we recommend for you, our skilled engineers will apply the same care and attention to production and fabrication whatever the scale of the project.

Our flexible manufacturing capabilities allow us to produce both short runs and high volume production of small to medium sized components. Optimised Manufacturing utilization, excellent engineering and rigorous process methodologies have been critical in our success and enable us to supply on a global basis with 70% of our output exported. Enabling Sinotech to cost effectively supply on time a high quality finished product.
